On a slab of white marble; the top and right-hand bottom corner broken away; the inscription ceases with line 55. Height 3 ft.
8| in.; breadth increasing from 1 ft. 8| in. at the top to 1 ft. 9 in. at the foot; thickness similarly increasing from in. to 6| in.
‘ The letters on this marble are quite worn away in many parts, in consequence of the slab having been placed for years over a sink,
and thus exposed to the constant action of running water.’ On the reverse several holes have been drilled, probably at a late period
when the stone was employed for building purposes. From a Turkish house near the Acropolis of Salmakis. Published, Archaeol.
