A. 673l-5. FRAGMENTS of similar ware. L. if in. to 3 in. Painted decoration in two colours on

light buff clay: lustrous black varnish and dull red-brown paint. On 1-3 there are also
touches of white on the black, plain lines and rows of dots. The patterns are horizontal straight
and waved lines and spiral coils. (Fig. 138.)

A 674i-2. FRAGMENTS of similar ware. Ht. 34 in., 2I in. These have the same coloured

decoration as the preceding fragments, but without spiral coils. Both have touches of white on
the black varnish, horizontal lines and rows of dots. No. 1, which is part of a filler, has a
horizontal waved line in white.
