The stucco relief in the Berlin Museiim with the scenę of the Agony in the Garden (32 X 24,5 cm)
can be added to this group of works discussed here. It has nearly identicid dimensions and the
common origin — Upper Rhineland. The relief with the Agony comes from Borgo S. Sepolcro
and was purchased in Florence in 1904. Up to the time of the Second World War this relief was
kept in the Berlin Museum. The relief is deeply carved in stucco, with the original polychromy
and gildings still preserved68. On the garments the reddish purple, white, yellow and gold domi-
nate. The mantle of St Peter has the impressed brocaded pattern. Demmler ascribed this relief
to the Colmar School (Alsace) of the end of the XVth century. He established a connection —■
