At the conclusion of the exhibition, a one-day academic conference was held,
whose results were published in Bulletin du Musée National de Varsovie,
XXVII, 1996, no. 3-4.

Polska (Young Poland) period. Included in the exhibition were 640 paintings,

sculptures, drawings, prints, and handcrafted items from National Museums,
regional museums, the Leon Wyczólkowski Museum in Bydgoszcz, the Jan
Kasprowicz Museum in Zakopane, the Jacek Malczewski Museum in Radom,
the National Library in Warsaw, the Print Room of the Warsaw University
Library, the Library of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, as well as
museums in Vilnius and Lvov. It was divided into thematic sections whose titles
were taken from the exhibition’s most important works: Nec mergitur, Spring,
Rapture, Night Creatures, The Earth, The Treasures of Sesam, Strange Garden,
Bric-à-Brac on a Mantel, Reconciliation of the Elements, Procession to
Wawel Castle, A Courtyard at Salwator, Fleeing the Bumblebee, and Dusk;
