42. Statuette of calcareous stone. Height, ioj inches. Found in the temple (Golgoi).
Figure blowing a double flute, with mouth-strap (phorbeia), which is supported by

straps passing over the head-dress in front of the ears. A long robe, with sleeves, falling
to the feet. Traces of red color on the straps.

43. Statuette of calcareous stone. Height, 1 foot ift inches. Found in the temple
(Golgoi).

Figure blowing a double flute; broken off above the feet; features and surface
much worn. Head-dress ridged in front and falling behind the ears; a long robe, with
sleeves; traces of red color faintly visible.

44. Statuette of calcareous stone. Height, 8 inches. Found in the temple (Golgoi).
The arms, body, and right shoulder wanting; surface worn; head with peculiar wreath,

hair falling on the shoulders in three heavy tresses, with mouth-strap (phorbeia), sup-
ported by side-straps in front of the ears.

45. Statuette of calcareous stone. Height, 7$ inches. Found in the temple (Golgoi).
Arms and double flute broken off; portion below the line of the knees wanting.

Short upper garment and long robe, with indication of a belt across the waist. Spiral
ear-rings. Red color on the straps.

46. Statuette of calcareous stone. Height, 6i6 inches. Found in the ruins of a
temple at Amathus.

Figure blowing the double flute; portion below the breast wanting. Surface much
decayed. The hair is bound by a fillet, and curled in regular locks projecting over the
ears, with curious ear-rings, and falling in heavy tresses on the shoulders in front and
back.

47. Head and upper part of the body of a statuette of calcareous stone. Height,
2f inches. Found in the temple (Golgoi).
