has held a lion (or a lion's skin), the legs of which appear on the wrist, and the
body of the animal is outlined by the broken surface on the front of the statue.
The left forearm is doubled against the upper part of the arm; the hand, wrist, and
a portion of the shoulder, are broken away. The hair, falling in long curls on the
shoulders, is tied by a fillet, with bow on top. The toes are damaged and the
face mutilated. The statuette was broken above the feet, and rejoined.

Male figure (Hercules), with head and shoulders covered by a lion's skin, with
belted garment falling to the knees. The hind paws of the animal project in front,
from under the belt. The right arm is broken below the shoulder. The left forearm is
raised; hand and wrist are wanting; also a portion of a quiver held under the arm.
The right foot is wanting; the right leg has been broken below the knee, and rejoined.
The left leg is wanting below the line of the garment. The nose is broken.
