i. Necklace. Gold. Length 123^ inches. Found in a Vault at Curium.

Consists of five large beads in middle, and sixty-five smaller ones of similar pattern arranged
in two parts. The beads are ribbed, slightly flattened and pierced through the shorter diameter.
A distinct ridge extends around the greatest circumference. The diameter of the beads is about
one quarter of an inch.

2. Bracelet, with central brooch. Gold and agate. Total length 7^ inches. Brooch
i9/ie by 1% inch. Agate, 1 by 5/§ inch. Found in a Vault at Curium.

Consists of a central brooch with agate centre set in a gold rim, which is decorated with a
row of balls on the inner and outer edge of its face. Below are four circular pendants, with lotus
flower base and palmette top, connected with brooch by hook and ring. On each side is a band
composed of three rows of beads, nine in each row. The beads are ribbed longitudinally, are
slightly ovoid, and are slightly over one quarter of an inch in length.

3. Brooch. Gold and agate. Diameter of disk i9/i6 inch. Total length 2B/i6 inches.
Thickness l/% inch. Diameter of agate 5/§ inch. Found in a Vault at Curium.

Thick gold disk, with agate set in centre. About the agate is a star-shaped decoration,
with corresponding re-entrant angular decoration about the edge. Intermediate is a circle of
lozenge-shaped patterns in low relief. A hollow, tubular decoration with similar pattern surmounts
the disk. Three rings on each side are intended for strings of beads similar to those in No. 2.
Three pendant chains below, with (originally) three pomegranate flowers on each.

4. 5. Chain Bracelets. Gold. Length (respectively) 4^ and 4^ inches. Boss: diam-
eter, n,32 and 7Ae inch. Found at Dali (Idalium).

No. 5 is a chain of ordinary fish-bone pattern; No. 4 is made of double wire. At one end
is a hook, and at the other is a disk and ring. The collection contains five such specimens.
6. Chain Necklace. Gold. Length about 14^ inches.
