Gold Earrings, with glass and other pendants. From Greek tombs at Dali (Idalium).

i. Earring. Gold and glass or porcelain. Length i/g inch. Pendant S/& inch.

Plain gold wire hoop with in-hook. Pendant shows grotesque human head in pink, with
large dark gray eyes and long chin. Ring above to receive hoop represents a coil of hair and
extends out beyond face.

2. Earring. Gold and glass. Length i % inch. Pendant 7/g inch.

Plain gold hoop with out-hook and bead ornament. Pendant is a female negro head (like
Nos. 4 and 5).

3. Earring. Gold and glass. Length \l/g inch. Pendant %6 inch.

Hoop is of tapering gold, untwisted in part. Pendant is gray and black, hemispherical,
graven to represent a negro face with pronounced lips.

4. 5. Pendant and Earring. Gold and glass, dark purple. Length 1 J/g inch. Head S/g
inch.

Fine wire loop with out-hook. Pendant shows a negro head, hair represented by dots.
Similar to No. 2.

6. Earring. Gold and glass. Length iy% inch. Pendant % inch.

Tapering gold band, ends interhooked. Pendant of pressed glass, amber-colored; shows
erect lion with upright mane. Star and crescent above.

7. Earring. Gold and stone. Length 1 % inch. Pendant % inch.

Plain wire hoop with interlocked ends. Pendant gray, diamond-shaped, and hung length-
wise. Symmetrical ornamentation.

8. Earring. Gold and glass. Length 11/2 inch. Pendant, diameter yA inch.

Plain tapering gold band with out-hook. Pendant is of purple pressed glass, showing
standing lion with erect tail.
