i. Ring; Seal. Bronze. Carnelian. Diameter yA inch. From Citium.
Thin band expanding to form setting of a yellow stone engraved with the figure of a scor-
pion. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 391: 24.

2. Pendant. Gold and brown chalcedony. Size 7/$x5/s inch. From Curium.

Oval gold setting, plain and flat behind; sides have guilloche and beaded bands; edge is
ribbed. At end is a spool or barrel to receive suspending wire. Stone is oval and flat, with
brown and grey stripes. Engraved with two wild goats, erect, and back to back, with heads
turned toward each other. Between them and also in front of each is a lance-shaped leaf, upright.
Beneath is a "lord" sign. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 377: 23; .plate XXXVIII, 23.

3. Ring. Bronze. Onyx. Diameter l94e inch, slightly oval. From Dali (Idalium).
The metal flares to form the setting. Onyx set in the thickness of the band. Engraved

with a cupid astride of a dolphin. A minute intaglio of the Roman period. See Cesnola, Cyprus,
page 392: 35.

4. Ring. Gold. Sard. Diameter S/A inch. From Dali.

Thin band, flared to receive stone, which is set in the thickness of the band. Stone is
engraved with an erect female with long garment. Rudely scratched; outlines indistinct. Raised
rim about the setting of the stone. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page 390: 7.

5. Ring. Gold and sard. Long diameter 13/i6 inch. Stone 11/a2X^ inch. From Curium.
Oval in shape; thickened to receive stone, which is engraved with figure of a dog at

full run.

6. Ring: cameo. Gold and paste or glass. Diameter % inch. Setting 5/6x5/ig inch.
