Bottles of various shapes and lengths. Shown Vs of true size. Found in Greek tombs at
Dali (Idalium).

1. Bottle. Height 4%e inches. Diameter i inch.

Double bulb body; stem slightly tapering; flat mouth. A specimen of four examples.

2. Tubular Bottle. Height 6% inches. Diameter iVis inch.

The collection contains twelve examples, most of which are closed at the bottom. None
of them are capable of standing alone.

3. Bottle. Length 5^ inches. Width 1 inch square.

Long, slim neck, square body, distinct mouth. The collection contains two examples.

4. Bottle. Length 334 inches. Diameter 1/% inch.

Oval bulb, with long, cylindrical neck and slightly flaring mouth. Constriction about
middle of neck. "Tear-bottle." The collection contains about two hundred of similar pattern, of
various sizes.

5. Bottle. Length 5}^ inches. Diameter i7/ie inch.
Similar to No. 4, but larger and plain.

6. Amphora. Length 434 inches. Diameter i3/g inch.

Flain, plummet-shaped body; cylindrical neck and small lips. Gold-colored iridescence.
The collection contains five examples.

7. Tubular Bottle. Length 13 inches. Diameter 2i/A inches.
Similar to No. 2 above, but of much larger size.

8. Amphora. Height \Y% inches. Diameter 13/$ inch.
Pointed, ovoid body ; cylindrical neck; slight lip.

9. Bottle. Height 411/is inches. Diameter 1 l/A inch.

Ovoid body, with constricted band; neck cylindrical; overhanging lips.
