Adopted stations. 29. About 420 adopted stations were fixed
on ground by means of lie lines for use in any future survey.
All such adopted stations have been shown on maps with the
usual conventional sign thus . No adopted station could
be fixed in the sandy waste as no permanent features could
be found,The importance of permanently marking the theodolite
stations in this area was impressed upon the Municipality
as it would greatly help whenever the need for surveying
the area arises or if the contemplated town planning of this
area is taken in hand.
Check of survey . 30. The detailed survey has been checked
by means of an independent block partal and has further
been tested by 51.51 linear miles of personal partal and
^.98 linear miles of Independent partal.The total linear
miles of test is $7 .49 which gives an average of 9.14
liner miles in each square mile .The total area of block
partal was 20? acres covering 627$* plots or 12 percent
of the total number.
31.As usual Quadrulaterals were checked by actual
measurement on the ground and differences down to 2 links
was corrected.
Ward boundaries and outer boundaries were also
checked as prescribed in the rules
