VII. By Section XIII. Regulation VI. 1793, the Court of Sudder
Dewanny Adawlut is empowered to suspend from office any judge or
judges of the Zillah, or City Courts, for wiiful disobedience or
negiect of any process, rule, or order of the Court of Sudder Dewanny
Adawlut, or for a false return thereto. Such suspension to be notified
within ten days, with all relative proceedings and papers, for the determi-

or misconduct in the discharge of their duty, a report of the circumstances
is directed to be made to the Sudder Dewanny Adawlut. But it is not
defined by the Regulations in what manner the Court of Sudder Dewanny
Adawlut is to proceed on the receipt of such reports, or on the receipt of
similar reports directed to be made to that court by Section X. Regula-
tion XIII. 1793, in cases of neglect or misconduct (other than corruption

Adawlut, either in pursuance of the latter part of Section X. Regulation V.
1793, or of Section X. Regulation XIII. 1793, or in any case not ex-
pressly provided Ibr by the Regulations, the Court of Sudder Dewanny
Adawlut, after such inquiry as may be judged necessary in proof or expla-
nation of the circumstances stated, shall, if the case appear to require the
notice of the Governor-General in Council, report the same to him, with a
copy of all proceedings and papers received on the subject of it, for such
orders as may be judged proper. The Court of Sudder Dewanny Adawlut
is directed to report to the Governor-General in Council all instances of
wilful neglect of duty or aggravated misconduct by a covenanted servant
of the Company employed in any of the Civil Courts, whether in a judicial
or ministerial capacity ; and whether such neglect or misconduct may have
been reported to the Court of Sudder Dewanny Adawlut by a 7V'CW772C767,
Zillah, or City Court, or may otherwise appear from the proceedings and
papers before the court. But if the case should appear to the court to
involve an error of judgment only, or a slight default, for which an admo-
nition from the court may be deemed a sufficient correction, the Court of
Sudder Dewanny Adawlut, in the former case, is authorized to notice the
error for the information and guidance of the party who may have com-
mitted it, or in the latter case, to advise him of his default and to admonish
him accordingly.
