XVI. The operation of this Regulation shall not commence until the
period of three years shall have elapsed from the date of its being passed;
and the judges of the several zillahs are to transmit a copy of the Persian
translate of it to every cauzy in their jurisdiction.
* The whole of Reg. XXXVI. 1793, is re-enacted in this Regulation.

render all persons amenable, without reference to birth or descent, to the Courts of Sudder
Dewanny Adawlut, of the zillah judges, principal sudder ameens, sudder ameens, and
moonsifs.
The right of natural-born British subjects to reside in India is regulated by the
3 & 4 Wm. IV. cap. 85, Secs. 81 to 84.
