DEDICATION
In the preparation of the following notice constant reference
is made to the famous Psalter of Saint Louis in the National
Library of France, of which a valuable and complete series
of reproductions has been lately issued under the auspices of
my friend Monsieur Henri Omont. To him therefore I
have great pleasure in dedicating this volume, containing, as
it does, photogravures of the fifty miniatures which adorn
the pages of the similar Psalter, executed for Isabelle of
France, the sister of the King.
