the Table of Contents, which will shew the order in which the
Metopes are at present placed, the figures attached to them in the
former arrangement in the British Museum (under which they have
been referred to in various publications), the situations which they
actually occupied in the Temple, and the Numbers of the
corresponding Plates in the present work.
