Its eyes were inlaid with silver, its nipples with red copper. Height: o'i66m. Patina :
brown. It was found in 1763 at Chalon-sur-Saone, in an oaken box along with seventeen
other bronzes, by a peasant at work on his vineyard. For other examples of careful
