WATER MILL near DOLBENMAEN,


Blue in the sky, cobalt~ 5 softened at the edges with water. The
clouds cobalt, and light red ; the mountains with the same, finished
with indigo. The distant wood, indigo, yellow ochre, and little light red
finished with the same; the tree at the end of the mill, indigo, gamboge, and
light red ; finished with indigo, and burnt sienna. The mill, yellow
ochre and black; the shadows with the same, the slates, cobalt and

lake. The trees and weeds in the foreground, indigo, gamboge, and burnt
sienna , varied with more indigo, and finished with the same; the
stones indigo, and Indian red IH . The whole of the foreground
finished with Vandyke brown.
