First edition of Durer’s verses on Death, presented by the Diirer Society,
1918. The second edition is also in the collection, as well as an impression
of the woodcut only, having the heading of the first edition with the
variant “ frwe ” for “ frrwe,” which was presented by Mr. Junius S. Morgan
in 1912.

First (only ?) edition of Durer’s verses, “ Wer recht bescheyden wol
werden,” etc. Like no. 113, the sheet has been rearranged so that the
verses form two columns instead of four.

Behaim died on October 14th, 1511.
