SOUTHERN FRIEZE.

We now come to that portion of the frieze which
enriched the southern side of the temple. The direc-
tion of the figures which form it is from left to right,
and the numbers being in continuity from the western
frieze begin with the end of the procession, and extend
from 62 to 90, round to the door of entrance into the
Elgin room.
