Purchased in Athens. Gift of Edward Robinson, 1892.
Clay pale red, firm even texture; pale brown slip. Dish with rounded sides
and lip rolled in; low base; strap handle horizontally attached, with projection
on each side. Decoration in dark brown glaze and dark red: inside brown; three
brown bands on the lip, the lower one with red edge; on top, two red and one
brown circle close together, separated by small brown dots; underneath, two
narrow brown bands outside the base, and five inside; on and above the handle,
rows of point rosettes and groups of vertical zigzag lines.

Clay pale buff, with occasional bits of chalk. Decoration in dull black glaze.
Body nearly hemispherical, turned in at the upper edge to cover half the diameter
of the opening; low foot; loop handle on one side. Encircling lines on the edge
of top and half way down the side; foot and base of body, outside of handle, and
inner lip are black.

Purchased in Rome, said to be a duplicate from the Vatican Collection.

Clay pale gray-yellow, slightly greenish. Low rounded saucer with wide flat
edge; high stem, projecting rib in the middle; wide spreading foot. Decoration
in dull dark brown glaze, and dark red: inside brown; on the edge a brown band
between red bands; on outside and on stem a few horizontal bands of brown;
top of foot brown.

Clay pale buff. Slightly domed cover with vertical edge and flat knob on
top. Decoration in dull black glaze and dark red, consisting of concentric bands
of varying width.
