dent Ram Doss to employ his time and talents in laudable
and pious endeavours to reclaim his Countrymen from
idolatry, rather than attempt to investigate mysteries that
;are far above the weak comprehensions of man. I also
recommend him to beware of such Christians as are
carried away with every wind of doctrine, and who "know
not what they do."

Sir,
I regret to observe by the Letter in your Paper of this
morning signed "A Christian," that in repelling the
offensive insinuations of Dr. Tytler against the Hindoo
Religion, I am considered by one of the Christian de-
nomination as endeavouring to degrade his "Faith."
It is well known to you, Sir, that I privately sent a
