Probably EDITIO PRINCEPS. On account of this book, Proctor has named the unknown
printer of Strassburg, because in this imprint we find the colophon: „arte impressoria artificiose
Argentinae effigiatum". On account of new researches it is thought that this printer is pro-
bably identical with Georgius Reysser de Spira.
Thomas Dorniberg was the editor of this work and finished the compiling of the
Index 11. Nov. 1472 („in die Sti Martini pape“), which shows that the book cannot have been
printed earlier than this date.
A rent in 1. 6 and 139 with loss of one letter, two very small iron-stains in the last two
11. with the insignificant damage of a few letters, the blank margin of the first leaf slightly damaged
and repaired, the margins of the last 11, waterstained, some old MS. marginal notes.
