Not in Kuczynski, Knaake, and Weller. The very rare original edition of this celebrated
pedagogical treatise, containing Luther’s preface. Melanchthon wrote it in 1527; it was a guide for
the participant of the great revision of the schools in Saxony.

Both extremely rare editions of the two booklets commonly called
the Mirabilia Romae.
Panzer (Deutsche Annalen I, p. 43 sq.) gives a detailed description of these
two guides to Rome. The first is a short description of old buildings, e. g.
gates, bridges, palaces, triumphal arches, temples, statues, ruins, etc. The contents
conform entirely to the description given in Panzer and therefore we know that
