Roza Aleksandrowicz was a daughter of the
owners, and later herself the owner of a well-
known firm selling stationery and painter’s mate-
rials in Cracow. Several portraits of Roza exist
executed by Cracovian artists. She offered a big
collection of paintings to the National Museum
in Cracow in 1950, when she left for Israel. She
died there around 1985, at the age of almost one
hundred years.
