Borki Nizne near Mielec 1931
fn the years 1950-1956 he studied in the State College of Plastic Arts in Warsaw under Stanislaw
Dawski (diploma in 1956). In 1965 he participated in the 4th International Biennial of the Young
in Paris, where - at Marc Chagall's instigation - he won the Erasmus of Rotterdam Award. Since
1968 he has been living and working in Toronto, where he directs the Toronto Center of Contem-
porary Art.
A painter, graphic artist and publisher of bibliophilic books.
