In the years 1934-1939 she studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in the ateliers of Wladyslaw
Jarocki, Stefan Filipkiewicz and Ignacy Pienkowski (diploma in 1945). After 1945 she belonged to
the Group of Young Plastic Artists and the Artists' Club, later to the Cracow Group IF
A painter, sculptor and stage designer; she is considered to have been a Polish precursor of the
painting of matter and structuralism; she created in the spirit of organic abstraction.
