Over the period 1985-1990 she studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Stanislaw Rodzinski
and Stanislaw Wejman (diploma in 1990). She won a scholarship of the Waclaw Baron Award.
She practises painting, described as multi-style, and drawing.

Leszek SOBOCKI SK
Czestochowa 1934
In the years 1953-1956 he attended the Faculty of Propagandist Graphic Art in the Katowice
branch of the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts, in 1956-1959 - the Cracovian Academy and in
1959-1960 - the State College of Theatre and Film in Fodz (diploma under Waclaw Taranczewski
at the Cracovian ASP in 1959). He co-founded the Group "Wprost"; he won the Cyprian Kamil
Norwid Award of Art Critics in 1976, the Award of the Committee of Independent Culture
"Solidarnosc" in 1983 and the Award (for the whole Group "Wprost") of the Varsovian Archdiocesan
Museum in 1984. In the 1980s he participated in the Movement of Independent Culture.
He is engaged in painting, assemblage and graphic art, expressing his ironical protest against the
avant-garde and aesthetics of colourism; in his subjects he draws on the Polish socio-political
reality.
