During the occupation he attended the Staatiiche Kunstgewerbeschuie in Cracow; next (1945-
1952), he studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of Eugeniusz Eibisch,
Jerzy Fedkowicz and Karof Frycz (dipioma under K. Frycz in 1953). During the occupation he was
connected with Tadeusz Kantor's underground theatre; a member of the Group of Young Plastic
Artists, the Artists' Ciub and the Group "MARG"; a teacher at the Cracovian Academy.
A painter, stage designer and photographer.

Before the war she studied in the School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry in Poznan (in
Fryderyk Pautsch's atelier), then at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Felicjan Szczysny
Kowarski and at the Roman Accademia di Belli Arti (dipioma in 1934). A member of the Associa-
tion of Polish Piastic Artists "Pryzmat". From 1936 she stayed in Rome.
A painter working in the "fauves" style, interpreting nature with the heip of coiour.
