In the years 1977-1982 he studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (diploma under Juliusz
Joniak in 1982).
A painter giving priority to colour, drawer and art critic publishing, a. o., in the periodicals and
newspapers: "Dekada Literacka", "Czas Krakowski" and "Dziennik Polski". He directs the paint-
ing studio at the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Cracovian Academy.

In the period 1950-1956 he attended the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (diploma under Czeslaw
Rzepinski in 1956). He took part, a. o., in the 3rd Exhibition of Young Plastic Artists in Cracow in
1959. Since 1961 active in the Cracow Group; he is also a co-founder of the Group of Five.
A painter subscribing to the painting of matter; he practises also drawing, graphic art, arrange-
ments of the environment type and monumental painting.
