During the occupation he attended the Staatliche Kunstgewerbeschule in Cracow and in the
years 1945-1947 - the Cracovian Academy of Fine Arts (diploma under Jerzy Fedkowicz and
Eugeniusz Eibisch). He was a member of the Groups "Kr^g " and "MARG", and of the Interna-
tiona] Association of Woodprinters "XYLON"; a participant, a. o., in the Exhibition of Young
Plastic Artists "Against War, Against Fascism" in the Varsovian Arsenal in 1955 and of the
Zakopane March Salons in 1958 and 1959. He won an award of the 3rd International Biennial
of Graphic Art in Ljubljana in 1959; a teacher at the Cracovian Academy.
A woodprint classic and painter.
