Second edition of the Georgica printed in England and first
edition with Grimald’s commentary.
The author, a famous humanist of the 16th Century (he publ.
an English translation of Cicero’s De Oficiis and attempted a translation
of Virgil), was one of the first English poets who
wrote in blank verse.
Partly browned. Contains many ms. notes: some passages
underlined.
