J/t. Hamilton, Cal., Jay 30,1905.

Dear Professor Wolf:
Your letter of the 13th is Just here,
and we are exceedingly sorry to learn of your ill health.
Would not a trip to Spain be good for you? At any rate
if you do not come to Spain I shall hope to see you at Heidle-
burg late in September. Hrs. Campbell will accompany me.
As to the coming of Jr. Gotz to our camp I should be very
glad to have him do so, and I shall arrange for his room
and meals at our expense. He should be there on the evening
of the 27th or the morning of the 28th of August. He would
probably want to remain until the 31st of August or the
1st of September. Just what accommodations we can secure
in Spain I do not know, but we shall hope to make all our
assistants fairly comfortable. Thank you very much for
your wishes for the 30th of August.
We shall, in a fortnight, issue a bulletin des-
cribing the new mounting of the Crossley Reflecting Telescope,
the discovery of the Sixth and Seventh Satellites of Jupiter,
and give their orbits and ephemerides.
Write me definitely, in care of the Legation of
the United States, Madrid, as to whether Hr. Gotz plans to
join our camp.
Yours very sincerely,
Professor Dr. Lax Wolf,
Astrophysical Institute,
Kdnigstuhl-Seidelberg,
Germany.
