Two college students
were walking across the
camps and they met a
young girl whom they
beth knew from one of
their class. One of the
students tipped his hat
but the other just smiled
and said hello. After-
wards, the first student
said to the other
"Whatsa matter with you?
Don't you know you
should tip your hat when
yon meet a , girl. After
all, she's a friend of
yours."

"Yeah, I know her,
said the other s'udent.
"But my room mate
doesn't."

"What that got to
do with it !"

"It's my room mate's-
hat I'm wearing."
Repeat Performances

They were very much
in love, hut rather shy.
He longed to kiss her,
but always there were
people about.

Then he had an ins-
piration. Taking her to a
railway station, they wai-
ted until a train was
about to start, when he
gave her a fond embrace.
They repeated the perfor-

to India and are expected
to reach Phari within the
next few days. The Head-
man of Phema, a small
village in Chumbi valley has
received instructions from
the Tibet Government to
keep his house ready lest
he may have to receive
an important personage
proceeding to India soon
It will be recalled that
the late 13th Dalai Lama
during his flight to India
in 1910 stayed in one of
the rooms of this house
in Phema and since then
the room has never been
used by any other person
and has been reserved for
special occasions.
