Division, Darjeeling invites sealed tenders
in B. F. No. 2911A from enlisted Class
I and II and combination of class III
& IV contractors of W. & B. Dept.,
West Bengal as per rules for open ten-
ders as well as from reliable outside
contractors for each of the undernoted
works (Estimated Amount & Earnest
Money mentioned against each): 1. Per-
manent restoration of damage caused
by extraordinary rains of 1950 to Kishi
Road—Repairs to painted surface of
Rishi Road in the lower section from
1st. to 10th miles—lls. 14,700/- and Rs.
294/-. 2. Improvement to Algarah Pedong
Road.— Laying premixed carpeting over
the water-bound macadam surface: (a)

Group I. In 19th and 20th miles.— Rs.
18,200/• and Us. 304/-. (b) Group IT.
In 21st., 22nd Sc 23rd miles.—Rs. 35,000 -

and Rs. 700/-. Tenders will be received
upto 3 P. Al. of January 31, 1952.

Earnest money in the Reserve Rank or
Treasury challan or in irrevocable cheques
guaranteed by Ranks is to be furnished
with the tender. Full particulars can
be seen at the aforementioned office and
that of the Superintending Engineer,
Northern Circle at Jalpaiguri during
working hours on week days.
