the Maharaja of Sikkim
on Sept. 4. As usual the
Warrior Dance of the
Tibetans in front of the

Gangtok, September 5

Palace monastery and in
presence of a large gathe-
ring of the local people, a
free Cinema show by the
Kumar Sporting Club in
the evening, and Tibetan
dance in the palace were

the features of the celebra-
tions. The Maharaja invi-
ted high ranking Govern-
ment and State officials
and some visitors to a
Luncheon party in the
palace grounds.
