for their invaluable assistance in organi-
zing and supervising the Games and
Competitions, Sri G. Mukhia and the
Teaching Staff, for their capable manage-
ment in keeping order among the boys
while going to and at Birch Hill- Rev.
Father M. Stanford S. J , Rector of St.
Joseph’s College, Rev. Mother Francis
Xavier, Superior of Loreto Convent, and
Lt. Col. A. V. A. Mercer, for their gene-
rous donations; and also Bharat Radio's
technician for the smooth running of the
loud-speaker system.
And to Mr. Morris Hyam, Manager
of Pliva’s, a very special word of appre-
ciation is due for the efficient manner
in which he saw to it that 550 people
were well fed and looked after by his
obliging staff All who were there can
vouch for the fact that Mr. Hyam again
maintained the high standard of efficiency
and of food for which Pliva’s is so
well-known. St. Robert’s will certainlv
have him give a ‘ repeat performance”
if, as it is hoped, a Picnic Day will
become an annual feature of the Sc! ool’s
activities.
