Public that in the Sixth Annual Gene-
ral Meeting of the Shareholders cf the
Company,: held on. 30 1219-»2 at the
Registered Office, the following amonest
other resolutions have been parsed by
Overwhelming Votes': —

have brought in 2 000 camels from the
Gobi Desert ta help easy the transport
posit on in the country, mules and yaks
alone having failed to meet -the demands
of the 20,000 strong Chinese Army now'
in Tibet, according to a report from

The reports Jidda that the camels
are proving . v ery useful to. the: Chinese,
b* &t\ ti»e they are capable of,carrying
loads, of about.seven maiinds.' .It further-
states that, an epidemic among^ yaks has
'.broken: out- thiougliput Tibet;

RATION SHOPS
To enable all card holders and
. appo nted retailers to lake, part in the
ensuing Bye-Election, all Food Ration
Shops will remain closed on 18th January.

on that day may draw on any other
day df that week except Saturday,
says a notification issu'd by the Town
Rationing Officer, Kalimpong.
