STOP PLEASE! NO FURTHER
RECRUITMENT

Wo^ld events during the past few
years make us believe that God has
declared a state oi emergency in 11c aven.
With the end of the World War 11,
emergency period on earth ended hut
just towards the close of that war the
champion Number one, President Roose-
velt was ealled to Heaven. This was
followed by the death of the apostle of
peace, .Mahatma Gandhi of India. The
iron man Sardar Pate! was soon after
called' to advise him. The liberator of
Burma Geneial Aung San joined the party
of departed and when tension between
India and- Pakistani was . critical Mr!
Jitrtia was .calledT Last year his trusted
colleague Mr, Liaqat 'Ali Khan went up
to assist him. 1'hen there was the de-
parture of the Head of the British'Com-
monwealth King George VI at a prema-
ture age. The as?aerr, ation of more than
one premiers in the Middle East made
the party of the leaders in Heaven stron-
ger.. The only want \dhs that of a Com-
munist leader and to (ill up this want the
giant among theCommunists Marshal Stalin
has beeii called- up. The-.summon to India'..
Defence Minister Ayanger is not less
insignificant.

Thus it appears* that world events are being
repeated in heaven with all the top leaders of
different countries assembled there. But now we
pray to God not to go further. In case of dead
lock in the \situation there, * a mediator may be
deemed necessary. The- world* has been tipping
our Prime Minister, as a .shrewd mediator so far.
Therefore his services may be deemed most nece-
ssary. Let. us all pray that recruitment of world
statesmen be • slowed • down and. that we Indians
be not deprived of our leaders as the Communist
has been deprived of theirs.

PUBLIC TROUBLE

Sir, We the Public are having lot of diffi-
culties in exchanging the Government Cur-
rency Notes of Rs. 100/, 10/- and 5/-
of King George VI. The Government
Sub-Treasury, the Bank and the -mer-
chant are not excepting those Notes
stating that there is certain defects in the
number. Even the slightest dirty Notes
are not excepted.

i But how it is possible for the Public
to know the list of defective Notes
while dealing in business affairs. Specially
for the villagers it is rather impossible
to judge the defective Notes.

As these Notes are not accept d the
Public are under compulsion to exchange
it even, at commission due to their
urgency.

It is better therefore for the autho-
rity concerned to take immedi^te^action
into the matter and either v cancel!
tl.o defective Notes or accept them for
the safety of the Public.' Yours etc.,
*A citizen’
