Kalimpong, June 18.
Quite a number of people were seen
assembled before the local Police Station
at about 10.30 tonight to enjoy the scene
that was being enacted in the Thana
room.
It is reported that a dead drunk
person was' creating a let of ‘Gpl-mal’
in the thana room and was throwing
away registers etc of the room in all
directions. . v '
People who had a nearer view of
the room think that the person was
probably a member of the thana staff.

Making a comparative Btudv of the
results of the different institutions here
it is seen that the.Girls’ High School
has achieved cent percent success. The
Govt High School has made considera-
ble improvement over its last year's re-
sult. This year it is 83.3%. as against
50% the preceding year The percentage
of passes from the Town School and the
S.U.M. Institution is below 40%.
While every care has been taken
