plain papers, from approv-
ed contractors for cons-
truction of M ponds near
Government Park at Ka-
limpong. . Tenders, addre-
ssed to aforesaid officer by
name, will be received
upto 5 p m. of September
17, 1954 and opened on
September 20, 1954 at 11
a.m. in the room of the
Deputy Secretary to the
Govt, of West Bengal,
Forests & Fisheries De-
partment, where tenderers
may be present. Parti-
cula b will be available in
jthe aforesaid office and
in the office of the Assis-
tant Fishery Officer. Ka-
limpong on any working
dvys during office hours.
Tenderers must forward
Income-Tax verification
Certificate along with their
tenders. Each tender mu9t
aocompany a Treasury
Challan, showing deposit
of 5 p c. of the tendered
amount as Earnest money,
in the Reserve Bank of
India or any Treasury,
under head "Revenue De-
posit", in favour of the
aforesaid Officer. Earnest
money of the unsuccess-
ful tenderers will be re-
funded. The work must
be completed within 30

days from the date of
plaoing orders failing which
the Earnest money will be
forfeited. Acceptance of
the lowest sr any tender
is not obligatory,

drowned near Falaketa
on August 28, when a
rescue boit carrying them
from a marooned village
to safety capsized in the
evurflnwing Buritorsa.
according to a reliable
report received here

Official confirmation
of this report is, however,
lacking.

17.7 million tons; and the
per capita consumption of
milk and milk products
is. estimated at 5.45 oz.
a day.
