THE AMBROSIOS PAINTER
Beazley, VA. pp. 19-20.
An unknown painter of the Epiktetan cycle has been called
the Ambrosios Painter, by Beazley, from the name used by him.
His work is very inferior technically, but he seems to have pos-
sessed a certain sense of humor.
