Collation: 1 (five left) edges of leaves torn out follow, but the
catchword carries on. 210~410 512~912 (six left) io12 (wants 1, 2) 1110
i2i° j^14 1412 1512 (wants 9, 10) i612-i812 19 (four left). The quires
are marked at the centre of the upper margin by large letters of
the alphabet alternately in blue and red, on every page running
from B to V. (P and 0 are used in one quire promiscuously.)
There is no division into books.
I see no trace of provenance.
The text begins imperfectly in Lib. II. cap. 16, sect. 2.

The edges of the torn-out leaves after f. 5 show a different hand
from their neighbours.
Vol. I. of the Rolls text ends 31$, col. 1 (Lib. II. c. 36).
At f. 6o« (Lib. III. c. 16, § 4, Rolls II. p. 398) is a marginal
addition very likely by the scribe of the text headed :
Casus de Jordan© uauaso(re): ends of lines cut off. It relates to
16 Edw. I and concerns T. de Weylande as well as Jordan:
ends: Et unde senex dixit: Ofte owene dom al owene durre
charret.
Vol. 11. Rolls (Lib. in. Tr. ii. c. 37) ends 74 col. 2.
After f. 85 is a gap. iv. Tr. i, 16. 4 to 18. 1.
After 87 is a gap. iv. Tr. i. 19. 8 to 22. 4.
After 89 a gap extending over most of iv. Tr. i. 23.
Vol. in. Rolls (iv. Tr. i. 50) ends f. no<z.
After 153 is a gap of two leaves.

early in a large clear upright black hand. Large initials in blue
with red penwork.
Calf binding, pr. 3s 6d. 2 fo. suo optimus.
Contents by Sancroft. On the margin of 6 a is a xvth cent, list
of contents.
