xiii, in a beautiful French hand, with fine ornaments: resembling
the small Paris Bibles. Wide margins for gloss, which has not been
added. The vellum is of particularly good quality. There seem to
be two hands : the second appears at f. 65.

It is no. 1651 in the Catalogue (Ano. Lib. pp. 390, 522), thus
entered : Item noue decretales cum C. sine glosa. 2 fo. descendit.
It was at one time in Abp Parker’s possession. At top of f. 1 in
his red chalk is the name of his son Johes Parker and the letters
T W (on which see my Catalogue of MSS. Corp. Chr. Camb. I.
p. xxii).
On ii b: Ricardi Cosin ex dono Joins Parker 290 Marcij 1596
stylo Angliae.
The flyleaves are two folded leaves of a Kalendar or Obituary
of Christ Church (?) of cent, xii early in a lovely hand. That
at the beginning has the days entered in red, blue and green,
but on one side only, and there seem to be no entries of
names. That at the end contains parts of Sept, and Oct.,
and the following entries survive :
