Rubric. De b. juliano. Cum uolueris pere(grinari). A leaf

Change of hand.
A prayer beginning imperfectly. The first words supplied in a
later hand at top of page ......
Clementissime d. I. C. vere deus qui a summi patris omnip.
sede missus es
Ends 183 b.
f. 184 is in yet another hand. It begins imperfectly.
Preces. Ne memineris etc.
Exaudi nos d. I. omn. sempit. deus et mittere digneris
Sanctos tuos in hoc habitaculo
O. s. d. in cuius manu .... respice in auxilium Christianorum
Preces.
Respice dne super hanc familiam
Preces. Recordare dne testamenti tui etc.
On the flyleaves at end are erasures. The first seems unim-
portant.
The next is : In the honor of god and Sainte Edmonde
Pray for Margarete Richmonde.
This I suppose to refer to the Lady Margaret.
On the last page are two which may relate to servants:
xxv day of marche ysabyl bradfort
... for vij yere
. . . ysabyl cadd... cum (?) to me the xij d(ay)
But the most interesting point is this. In the prayer added on
f. 181 we find (f. 182):
Ita d. I. C. fili dei viui liberare digneris me famulum tuum
Regem Ricardum ab omni tribulacione dolore etc.
and on 183 : Propter hec omnia rogo te dulcissime d. I. C. ut
custodias me famulum tuum Regem Ricardum et defendas
ab omni malo etc.
The word Ricardum has been erased in both places, but is
legible in the second, and I have revived it in the first.
