In cap. xxxi. After the burial at Hereford a sick woman takes
a bundle of hay which had been under the body, uses it as a
pillow, and is healed.
Cures on the occasion of S. Ethelbert’s fair.
A knight, Oliuirus, expressed satisfaction that the bishop was
dead and buried and lost sight and speech : recovered even-
tually.
A canon regular ‘ de partibus transmarinis ’ with a withered
hand healed (imperfect in this MS.).
