At top of 42 : Francis Pigot is the Ryght owner herof for any
thing I knowe to the contrary per amies (?) semper.
At 48 rubrics appear for the first time.
After 61: and to Athenes ]?e right way toke
(catchword) w‘ laurer, is a gap. f. 62 begins
But for synfull folk to chastise (1. 4958)

of Bury quod (a monogram).

late, in a good small clear black hand.
Original binding, wooden boards (beech ? and oak) bevelled :
covered with skin, clasp gone. On the second cover a title (xv) :
Liber frontini/de re militari/.
Collation: i8~48 (wants 6-8) 58 (gap) 68 76 (wants 1) 1 flyleaf.
At bottom of f. 1 (xvi): Shyrwynn. 2 fo. ceptis acie.
