A VERY LARGE CIRCULAR DISH, PARCEL GILT

COVERING the whole of the dish are large sprays of embossed tulips, radiating from
a large cluster of embossed fruit in the centre of the depression, the flowers being
white on a gilt ground. The edge is scalloped.
Diameter, 69 cm.
Marks: the pine-cone of Augsburg and ag in a rectangular cartouche.
German (Augsburg), circa 1685.
