mush " in Astori. Clapping of hands to manifest applause
is called " tza." Cries of " yu, yu dea; tza, thea.; hiu, hiu
dea; halamush thea ! shahash = call out yu. yu. ! ;
clap ! ; call out hiu, hiu! cheer ! well done !" are excla-
mations intended to encourage people engaged in dancing.
