breviation: aut 'autem'; qm 'quoniam'; scdm 'secundum';

more than one scribe. Abbreviation : aut' autem '; qm ' quo-

Paris 2832 (see my account in Rhein. Mus. 69, 631).

Paris 6601 Cicero de Officiis (foil. 1-68); Extracts from
Aug. Civ. Dei (foil. 69-70), foil. 71 (see above).

Troyes 96 Flours on Pauline Epistles. Clearly not the
first part of Lyons 484, for the size of page is quite different;
rather a transcript by Manno of Lyons 484 (for the Florus
marginalia are transcribed as well as the text).

Abbreviation : ' aut ' autem ; idt ' id est'; gla ' gloria ';
t with apostrophe ' tur '.

Troyes 2405 Augustine; Athanasius. etc. Its contents
tally exactly with those of n.° 83 in the eleventh-century
fragmentary Catalogue of St Oyan.

V. — * Ex Voto ' MSS.
of Leidrad, Agobard, Amolo, Remigius.

Leidrad (-at), who was educated at Freising along with Arn
(afterwards bishop of Salzburg), where he became
Diaconus in the bishopric of Aribo (764-783), was
made archbishop of Lyons in 798 and entered on
his duties in the following year. His ' ex voto ' entry
will be seen in plate 19 of Album Paleogr. (from
Lyons 608):
Leidrat, licet indignus, tamen episcopus
Istum librum tradidi ad altare sancti Stephani.

It appears in the following MSS. (altered when a later copy

of the original):
Lyons 599 (515) Rufinus' translation of Greg. Naz. liber

Apolog., etc., foil. 60.
Lyons 608 (524) Augustini Opuscula), foil- 168.
