In the same Palace of Aranjuez in the ceiling
of the Theatre he painted a picture in distemper,
of Time ravishing Pleasure, which was very
much admired as a lively allegory, worthy os
his sublime and sruitsul genius.
He likewise drewhis Majesty and all the Royal
Family many times; and a second time the
Prince of Asturias; and likewise did two Portraits
os the Insanta Donna Carlotta Gioacchina.
The four parts os the day, as sopraportes, are
in the Chamber of the Princess, nine feet in
height.
For the most Serene Prince of Asturias he did
one painting on wood of the Madonna and Child,
and Saint Joseph.
Another painting which represented a Youth
who pretends to pursue honour, and despises in-
terest, is placed in the house of his Highness at the
Escurial.
At San Ildefonso is a painting of the Holy
Mary Magdalen, in more than half figure, placed
in the chamber of Dispatches,
